Martta’s day

Martta’s name day is celebrated at the Burgher’s House to honour the most recent owner and occupant of the building, Martta Bröyer. It is thanks to her relentless work that the house still stands and is used as a museum. A special Martta Bröyer themed guided tour will be held in the main building at 12 noon. The second theme of the day will be the name day, which used to be a more important celebration than the birthday and came with some colourful traditions.
